Abit has a program called that will download and flash your bios from windows....I have never used it but it seems to be quite easy and safe.I've always used a boot disk (old fashion way).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your probably getting the remove floppy error because it wasnt formatted as a "MS-DOS Startup Disk".Format the disk again and choose "Create MS-DOS Startup Disk",then extract the bios files to the floppy and boot from the disk. From there you should be able to follow the instructions .Considering that you havent done this before,i would give the Flashmenu program a shot :)

I agree with liljim.
You need to do a lot of reading and reserch before you do a manual flash as the results of a bad flash generaly means a new motherboard.
I would be useing the Flashmenue that liljim suggested
Athalon XP28000, ASUS A7N8X2 Delux M/B
512Meg Corsair TwinMX XMS, X-Micro 128mg TI4200 8x
Volcano 11 Heatsink & fan, 80Gig Western Digital 8Mg buffer Hdd
350 watt Antec smart Blue PSU,
BenQ CDRW, 3 Case fans, Millennium case,
some other stuff to make it look pretty

Try the flash menu program...it will download the correct bios for you so theres no way to get the wrong one.

The BIOS update you downloaded, was it from the manufacture of the PC or the board manufacture? Is this a home built PC? If it is a factory built PC then you should get the BIOS update from the PC manufacture since the BIOS used by the manufacture is not always the same as what might be provided by a board manufacture.

I suggest you look for BIOS updates on your PC manufactures website.
