help cannot find msvbm60.dll

Postby dartchucker99 » Tue Apr 20, 2004 6:28 am

Im trying to fix relatives computer, had tons of spyware on it and cleanned that up but when i tried to run hijack this i got msvbm60.dll could not be found. When i tried to reinstall nortons system works it stated that the drive was not accessable. The problem is she does not have the win 98 full install disk, I have a 98se full install disk, could i use it to replace the file. If not short of reformating which i do not want to do as im not sure what drivers she might need what are my options. I searched the internet for the dll not found but found there are different versions and im not sure how to install them. any help would be appreciated

There seems to be something wrong with the dll site you posted liljim, I have same link and it didnt load. Anyhow dartchucker99, it wouldnt hurt to throw that dll into the C:Windows\System32 folder also.
