pc problem

Hey guys im quite new to this, well im wondering if i can get some help, im a 1st time pc builder yup and i think i mite have screwed up a bit. well basically i have set up my pc and stuff everything looked ok until i tried to turn it on. when i did this my pc came on along with my disk drives but my keyboard, mouse and monitor didnt ive tried using a different vga and that doesnt work. when it it up there is power goin to the monito but it does not get the signal from the pc. can sumone please help me or email me at sonicstar5000@hotmail.com i can do with the help thanx in advance. oh yeah my specs are

abit ic7-g mobo
2.8 prescott
256 ddr 400

I would start by clearing the CMOS.Then remove any unnecessary hardware....soundcard,usb card,modem,nic card...Only need video,HDD and ram to POST.Reseat the video card and memory...do you get any beeps?
