runtime error

Postby noby » Fri Mar 12, 2004 9:16 am

well guys,
when I go to certain pages on the internet, I get a runtime-error telling me that 'URI' is not defined. From what I hear, some people have this kind of error on their machines, and some don't. So I'd like to find out if I can do something about it or not?

thanks

Does this happen alot? Do you still see the web page when you get this error?
It sounds like the normal error report that you get when a web page has an error in the html code somewhere.
You can turn off Error Reporting in IE / Tools / Internet Options / Advanced and you won't see that error window.

Brad,

when I turn off the error reporting, it works for me also.
By the way , the site you looked at was a flemish site where you see all concerning a billiard 3 cushion tournament that goes on every year for some 30 weeks; the "speeldagen" were playing days results. If you want to join? It would certainly be something new for you....

thanks for the tip
