system transfer after bigger harddisk

Postby nighteyes » Thu Mar 11, 2004 10:43 am

i've bought a bigger harddrive. the old one had 3 partitions, a system partition, a programfiles partition and a storage partition. Now i want the same on the new one. Is this as simple as partitioning the new drive and pressing copy from the window explorer? or do you have to do something more special? :?:

Most new hard drives come with a utility CD or floppy disk.
The utility disk will usually have a disk imaging program of some kind
that you can use to image your old drive to your new drive, partitions included.

What is the make of the new hard drive?
Did you get a utility disk with your new drive?
