If you want to block pinging go into your router setup, should be something like 192.168.x.xxx, and check the box that applies to ping blocking.

thanks but there is no such option! my router software SUCKS i cannot even set up port forwarding. i fear it isnt protecting me at all and i am very vulnerable.
