black screen

hi i looking to see if anyone could help, i got a new Fujitsu LifeBook P3110 11.6” LAPTOP LED SCREEN and replaced my old one connected the small connector at the top and the larger one at the bottom. after i put all screws back in & cover on i switched my laptop on all the lights came on i could hear the fan but nothing on the screen at first i could see it but faint, start windows normally i clicked enter but cant see anything on the screen at all its just a black screen & i have everything connected that should be help please.
