Browser not working

Guys my browser has stoped working ?The only way to get to the net is thru My computer and copying and pasting a link thru that section of the computer I have tried restoreing and it won't let me do that either !
Is there any viruses floating around that will cause this Vscan came up with nothing!Spy bot nothing. Also if I try to click on links left in forums like this one they freeze the computer for a bit!

I assume you are using IE6 on Windows XP so I would recommend that you go to this link to see how to repair IE in Windows XP and see if that corrects your problem:

Couple of questions. Does IE execute at all or do you get errors with it when you try to use it? What exactly happens if you click on links in IE or enter a url in the Address bar?
