All versions of Windows 7, 2008 and Vista including 32 bit and 64 bit

Programs Drive???

This might be a stupid question but I was wondering anyways. Is it better to have a hd just for the os to run on and nothing else then installing all programs onto a separate hd or should programs be install on the same drive as the os?? or maybe it doesnt matter at all.

In my opinion, its better to have them on the same drive and if anything a separate drive for storage (vids, music, pics).

I got an os partition, music partition, misc parition1, misc partition 2, and apps partition. works great.
