upgrade or full installation ?

All versions of Window XP and 2003 including 32 bit and 64 bit

upgrade or full installation ?

I :mad: cant get the sound or download problems solved and was thinking about upgrading to xp anyway.If I used the xp upgrade will these problems still exists?Or should I reformat with the full version.Any advice? Thanks.

To answer your question, I always recommend a fresh install of XP.
I have seen too many problems trying to upgrade to XP.

I just read your post about your sound card problem.
Have you tried uninstalling all the sound drivers and other audio programs,
then removing the card, boot up once shutdown, reinstall the card
and select the right drivers for you sound card when windows detects the new hardware?
