burning error message

Postby leeegglestone » Wed Nov 26, 2008 1:07 am

A friend at work has been using Itunes are over a year, but recently its started giving error messages when trying to burn disks.

Unknown Error 4450

Said it happens trying to burn in Itunes and also Sonic.

She is worried that she will have to uninstall itunes and reinstall meaning losing all her songs.

Anyone know what the error message means and how to solve it ?

thanks

You can only burn purchased tunes a certain number of times.
Have they exceeded this for some of the items being burned?
Try taking the 3 newest songs in the playlist, make a new playlist, put those songs there and try to burn them.

Changing the name of songs can also cause this error.
It also could be a corrupt MP3 file.
Try a different brand, preferably of better quality, blank cd/dvd

Can they burn a cd/dvd outside of itunes?
