How do I block access to certain websites in XP?

Postby tk4two1 » Sat Jul 26, 2008 7:18 am

I want to be able to block YouTube and some other sites on my xp machine so that my kids have no access. What is the best route to do this? I do have to XP machines that I need to block.
Thanks!

You can try adding the site address in the restricted sites area in Internet Explorer. Open IE then go to tools>internet options. Click on the Security tab, then restricted sites logo. Now click the "sites" button and type www.youtube.com into the box, click add then ok and test it out. You will obviously do the same for any other sites you want to block.

If that doesnt get it you may want to look into party software.
