Adobe Photoshop

Hey all,

I'm looking to try to learn how to manipulate digital photos with Adobe Photoshop 6.0...

I know this is an older version of this software, but I can't beat the price. The problem is this: This software is very intimidating. There are soooooo many things you can do with it, sometimes I don't even know where I should even begin...

I've got a site or two that touch into how to do various things, but am wondering if any of you have any sites you might recomend...

Hey Gecko...

I'd like to say what I'd like to be able to do, but that is where the problem begins... Hehe..

I've recently bought a DSLR and am now wanting to tweak the pictures that I take... So far, I've figured out how to pull in the levels a little and how to crop a photo.

I keep hearing things about using Layers, sharpening pictures, using a mask, and dozens of other things as well...

I guess I don't really know if I need to do all of these things all the time, but would like to find some tutorial that will help explain what they are. That way I'd know if I needed to do them. Or of someone critiques a picture I've taken, and suggests I do 'this and this with a 50% mask that...' I'd know what they were talking about...
