Hi im running vista premium 32bit and any time i go to a website i am a member of ie pc tech forums or empire online i have to relog in every time even if i have keep logged in ticked.I dont use the save passwords in firefox function as i dont want to keep my passwords in my browser as you know but id like to go to say myspace and when i click remember me it actually remembers my email address instead of me writing it out 300 times a day.Ive figured out once i reboot vista loses the remember me info.
Am i the only one having this problem and is there a fix.
thanks in advance.

I installed service pack 1 yesterday and that seems to have fixed the problem (touch wood)

Im glad that sorted it out for you. Im not a vista user and dont think i will be for quite some time yet. Service pack one should have addressed alot of issues and hopefully after service pack 2 it will be worth running.

I know the "remember me" is kept by cookies and it sounds like vista may be deleting your cookies on reboot. Im trying to see if thats correct and if theres a decent solution.

heres something to look at also, in firefox,

go to Tools>Options>Privacy

Make sure Accept cookies from sites is checked and keep until they expire

also Uncheck Always clear my private data when i close firefox

maybe its just those settings that need to be corrected but if not let us know.
