There are ways but it's kind of an invasion of privacy. It's different with a web site. If you're running a Firewall and this person tries to access your computer, you can find the IP there. brad
Hmm - I would have to disagree. Having someone's IP address is no more invasion of privacy than having someones mailing address. The intent on the other hand is up for debate.
There are literally hundreds of methods to get someones IP address. Whether that IP address will be valid for more then one session depends on their ISP and/or type of service.
Can you explain a little more about why you need the IP?
wanting to know peoples ip addresses is only as bad the intent of what to do with the ip address, you can keeep someone from getting on your site or you can hack into ther comp. it all depends, whats the reason you want these ip addresses?
