graphics card trouble

i just swapped my saphire ati radeon x1900xtx card into my new pc and it has stopped working, there is no display when i boot up the pc, just a blank 'no signal' screen. is the card gone to the big pc in the sky or is it repairable.

are you getting and beeps?
does the machine sound like its booting?
do you get any HDD activity lights?

If the card was working in another machine very recently, i doubt its bad. We need to determine if the machine is booting or not. What happens when you power up without the card present, any beeps?
