im sorry but lately im having problems browsing through newegg. I did get to look at whats picked out and everything is ok. I am running the same cpu in my rig and its rock solid.

For the PSU, try to stay at 500 watts or above. The bast bang for your buck i saw at newegg was this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817159055

The mail in rebate makes it a good buy

DONT BUY VALUE RAM
you get what you pay for with memory, this is good memory and it will keep you in your budget
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820227031

without the mail in rebate on the psu, that brings you to $489.95

of course its $459.95 with it

hope that helps

Thanks for all the help liljim, ended up springing an xtra $30 and went for some corsair xms, the system is up and running great, only thing was my mobo recognized the ram with a cas of 3 instead of two so i changed that and appears to be ok. Im suprised how cool the stock hsf keeps the cpu, a 32c idle temp, as with my athlon xp and stock hsf in the same case and cooling options i used for the new build was idling at 47. Could be that the new psu is covering the cpu and with the side exhaust it pulls the heat right off of it. Well im very pleased with what i got, the only issue that im running into is with my store hd hooked up the comp wont boot, it looks for a boot theough cd. Yes im hooking up the store as slave, cant get it, hope i can figure it out i miss my music.
