Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
svchqs.exe
powerdll.exe
corrida.exe
iouzm.exe
Preliminary.exe
defect08.exe
MWSOEMON.EXE

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

It looks like you are infected with some version of the Gaobot virus.

Please download the Symantec but do not run it yet.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)

You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

If you are on a network or you have a full-time connection to the Internet (dsl/cable) disconnect the computer from the network and the Internet.

Now run the FxGaobot removal tool, it will take quite some time to finish.
When it’s done restart the computer.
Run the removal tool again to ensure that the system is clean.

If, when running the tool, you see a message that the tool was not able to remove one or more files, run the tool in Safe mode.
Reboot in to Safe mode:
Restart Windows after you see the BIOS screen and before Windows starts to load.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
Use the Arrow key to ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

I still think you are infected even Symantec said their tool wil not remove all versions.
Let's take a different approach, Start HijackThis and click the "Open the misc tools section"
Now click "Open host file manager" next click "Open in notepad", copy everything in the host file and paste it into this thread.

That is a good thing that is what should be there :)

I guess that I was wrong then

According to the two below entries are from W32.Gaobot.ZX:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Norton Wizzard] nwiz.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Norton Wizzard] nwiz.exe

Now NVidia also installs a file by the same name to the same location C:\Windows\System32\nwiz.exe
But it does not make the above registry entries.

If you system is running fine then I would leave it for now.
