Well looking at it I can see some things that you could clean but I don’t want to post what to do. Wait for another moderator to post what to clean.

yes,

I have been getting popups saying I have registry errors. Obviously they're not a microsoft warning message because they give me a non-microsoft website to go to, to fix the problem. They always come up whether I'm using internet explorer or firefox. I am running on cable. I ran adaware and spybot and ran virus scans and registry cleaners, and still nothing.
Here is one of the messages, which is titled "Messenger Service":

"Message from FROM to TO on 5/29/2006 7:29:37 PM

STOP! WINDOWS REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ATTENTION.

Windows has found 55 Critical System Errors.

To fix the errors please do the following

1. Download Registry Update from: www.regfixit.com
2. Install Registry Update
3. Run Registry Update
4. Reboot your computer

FAILURE TO ACT NOW MAY LEAD TO SYSTEM FAILURE!"

Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
GameChannel.exe

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

O2 - BHO: My Search BHO - {014DA6C1-189F-421a-88CD-07CFE51CFF10} - C:\Program Files\MySearch\bar\1.bin\S4BAR.DLL
O3 - Toolbar: My &Search Bar - {014DA6C9-189F-421a-88CD-07CFE51CFF10} - C:\Program Files\MySearch\bar\1.bin\S4BAR.DLL
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WT GameChannel] C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\GameChannel.exe

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
WildTangent
MySearch

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.
Delete the following Folders and their contents:

C:\Program Files\MySearch\
C:\Program Files\WildTangent\

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your Recycle Bin, reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.

You really should update to service pack 2 there are a number of security issues covered by sp2.
