Well, the computer froze up again, this time while unplugging my speakers to hook them up to the tv to watch a movie.

*sigh*

Seems if I plug in or unplug anything, the computer will freeze up at times.

I'm going through the event viewer to try to determine the cause of the freezing, but I don't understand much of it. So here's what I see...

Application Tab:

WARNINGS on 3/19/06
Detection of product '{43DCF766-6838-4F9A-8C91-D92DA586DFA8}', feature 'DefaultFeature' failed during request for component '{A4AD656D-72E9-43A7-9DD0-E5F6AF438E72}'

Detection of product '{43DCF766-6838-4F9A-8C91-D92DA586DFA8}', feature 'DefaultFeature', component '{9F47ECA8-A740-EC80-1AE2-C48048D83AA4}' failed. The resource 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Journal Viewer\' does not exist.

I have 3 of each of those on that day.

System Tab:

WARNING on 3/21/06
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

There are lots of those warnings on many different days.

ERROR on 3/21/06
The Panda Process Protection Driver service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

That error also appears twice on 3/17/06 and again on 3/12/06

ERRORS on 3/12/06
The name "MSHOME :1d" could not be registered on the Interface with IP address 192.168.0.12. The machine with the IP address 192.168.0.13 did not allow the name to be claimed by this machine.

That appears 3 times, and then this one
The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer USER-TG9ELP0D2Q that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_{D51C7016-F4A. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.

Also, after I installed Final Fantasy VII and Daemon Tools, this happened, on 3/11/06:
Your Windows product has not been activated with Microsoft yet. Please use the Product Activation Wizard within 3 days.

When I restarted my computer, it told me that since I've made significant hardware changes, I had to re-register my copy of Windows, which I did successfully. What's up with that? The only thing I've installed recently was a new DVD drive, about a month ago.
