Your log is clean.
Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery section
Settings button > System Failure section > check the box 'Write an event to the system log'.

Post the results here.

If you feel you're comfortable with a system restore you can do that too.

Start > Run > type: Msconfig > click the "Launch System Restore" button. Select a time and date that last worked.

the box was already checked but where do i find the system log?

i think i got it now i found all the files used by spyfalcon on http://www.2-spyware.com/ and delete them. i felt like taking a wild chance and it seemed to work.
