Here's a pic from about a year ago.
It has had the frame powder coated, new seat, risers, handlebars, pipes and a motor rebuild since then.
I was going to paint the skins at the same time but couldn't wait to get it back on the road.

When it was new yes
but what I had was a santee hardtail frame much lower and a springer front end.

This was back in the late 60’s and the Easy rider look was in, long front end with no front break.
It was not a smooth ride by any means and if you went over 65mph the front end would wobble.
But it was my first bike I had built it and I was proud, even though I had to stop every 200 miles and tighten up bolts.
If I didn’t things would fall off like a mirror or the shift leaver or a foot peg, it was that single 500 cc cylinder thump, thump, thump.

I havent been on in a while either, it seems that all the pc's in this house decided to have problems at the same time, and my new mobo has its ups and downs too.

Ive been trying to fix more than play games lately..
