Postby Jas0n » Tue Feb 07, 2006 4:46 am

Hey guys,
Sometimes my PC randomly freezes, i can alt+tab or move the mouse. All i do is reset the PC and its fine, but dont know how long for.
What is causing my PC to just Freeze up on me?

It could be a number of things. Could be programs you're using, do you have the latest patches? Could be a virus, could be over heating, could be a hardware issue, do you have the latest drivers for everything?

Check all of these.

If its a new system, check for a Bios update with the vendor. There are a lot of issues that seem to disapear with a bios flash.

I don't recommend this solution for everyone, "if it an't broke yada yada." But when you go to the download page you will see what each flash fixes. Its not a perfect world out there, MB manufactures do make mistakes.
