I was looking at Xbox 360's on Ebay the day after they went on sale. There are 25,000 of them up at this moment. The day after they went on sale they were going for 1200-2000 dollars! Now they are just above retail sale price.

I have heard great things about this system. As for me, I'm waiting for the Playstation 3. I've always been and will always be a loyal Playstation fan. *ducks*

Yet if I could affored both, I'd have both.

Xbox 360 is released now.

The core version doesn’t appeal to me at all, but the full on best looks very playful. I wouldn’t complain about having one lol, but I've not got the money at the moment, was thinking of asking for some dosh for Christmas to put towards 1, but I don’t think I want to any more, not sure if I’ll get allot of play out of it, with my exams and what that will be coming up. Mite be a good idea to get 1 (or a ps3 (drool)) as a reward for doing well in my exams, prices will go down tones as well. I just know if I had 1 I wouldn’t leave it alone.

The nearest ASDA to me put them on sale at midnight or something, and they only had 6 lol. I imagine there all gone.

I think in England they are getting more in about Jan, you've got allot more chance going for the core version, because like me, more people want the full package. For 80 pounds extra you get so much more.

I heard that the cordless remote has a on/off switch for the 360, how amazing is that, just leave it on the chair and pick it up n press on lol.

But yea, gameplay and game are saying around Jan i think.

Buying the core system is like buying a car without the engine. For $100 more in the U.S. you get twice your money's worth. If I were to buy an XBox 360, I'd definately wait until the full package is available.

I played an Xbox 360 in a shop the other day. I have to say I was disappointed. It was the Call of Duty: 2 Demo, and it looked better on my pc. It was good for a console tho don't get me wrong, but I think i'll stick to computers for now.

Also, you can get Nintedo Gamecubes for £15 now apparently! That's about $25 I think...so I might get one of them, because.....just becuase it's £15!

Hmmmmmmm unless you have a £2500 PC i very much doubt the PC version is better

well id have to agree with the don. i played it up west end in virgin megastores london where i live. The call of duty 2 demo was not that impressive.. just as good as the pc version i think. And there was times when i noticed it lag so i agree with the don.how would owning a £2500 pc make it equivalent to 360??? id rather have a 2500 quid worth pc over a 360 tbh even tho i want a 360 pcs are still better. Mostly because a 2500 quid pc would blow xbox 360 !!!! are you mad???

PC's and console systems are two different things. Call of Duty 2 isn't the only game for the 360. There are going to be many, many great games released for the 360 that PC users will never see. First person shooters are always going to be better on the PC, you won't get the percise control that you get on a computer on an XBox unless you're using some kind of mouse and keyboard with it.

However, I think the gap between computers and console systems is growing smaller. Sure a high end PC is going to perform better than the 360, but I think in the future you won't be able to tell much of a difference at all.
