It's probably an add-on causing that problem, my friend had that problem on her computer recently.
In IE go to Tools and Manage Add-Ons. Disable any add-ons that you don't recognize. Sometimes things get added without your knowledge. Sometimes the add-on causing this problem can be hidden. If that is the case, restart your comptuer in safe mode with networking. (To restart in safe mode, reboot your pc and repeatedly press F8 as the computer boots up...when the menu appears select "Safe Mode with Networking")
Go to the Start Menu, then Control Panel, then Internet Options. Click the Programs tab and click "Manage Add-Ons". Look through that list for anything that you don't recognize and disable it. If you still cannot locate the add-on that is causing this problem, I would disable the add-ons completely. To do this, go to the Internet Options again, and click the Advanced tab. Under browsing, uncheck the box that says "Enable Third-party browser extensions". You will have to restart your PC after you click Apply.
I would reccomend using Mozilla Firefox instead of IE. You can get that here

This should fix your problem.
