I'm with robbro.... us U.K.ers can't really imagine what you go through. It must be very scary.

The worst natural happenings I've experienced is a few earthquakes (small ones but not so small when you don't expect to get them lol)... and hailstones the size of golf balls.... they dented everybody's cars and broke alot of glass....people kept some in their freezer for weeks as a weird kind of souvenir hehe

This thing is now CAT5...its the biggest I have ever seen. I hope you arent reading this because you are far away from there.

Its around 175 MPH winds right now and its expected to make landfall sometime monday. I am in northern louisiana so it wont be "quite" as bad as it will around the coastline. We shouldnt start seeing any effects here untill tomorrow afternoon. I have alot of family in southern louisiana that im worried about though. Most of them are going to bed down and stay put and i dont think thats a good idea. This is the biggest hurricane to hit the US that im aware of. Im not going to be leaving LA but i will be going to a safer location than where im at now. I'll be in touch until it gets a little closer but if i dissapear for a while its only due to loss of power or phone lines. Pray for everyone thats in the path of this thing, its already making history and its not on land yet.

its really sad how much damage that thing has done. i feel sorry for all them people

Its sad that people are looting and stuff :S at a time like that ? i guess people get desperate at times like that but still no need for looting is there ? .

u got a point there too colaboy it is really bad. heard there was explosions as well there today really bad stuff going on :shock:
