Earthlink broadband

Anyone currently an Earthlink broadband internet subscriber? I just got it set up at my house, and I am having a couple of issues. I can't access some websites (school) because of the built in pop-up blocker. On top of that I can't get connectivity to my other computer or Xbox despite hooking them directly to the modem. Any suggestions?
