Your favorite XP trick...

At college many people have a ton of programs open. (this even works if you are say for example in the middle of an all out deathmatch like from Counterstrike and u wanted to download something or learn some secrets to a level and didn't want to leave the game.)

**Note: Im not responsible if you get kicked from such said server due to lag or timing out

onto this trick a lot of people dont know about.

IF you hold down the ALT key and then press the TAB key it brings up a menu with all your programs on it...basically speaking for it self just keep pressing the TAB key and you can EASILY MULTITASK

This said, any messaging program works perfectly with this simple Trick (ALT and TAB)

hope u guys like it, and it only takes a min or 2 and then u get used to it and never use the mouse to click on the toolbar again.

tis a good tip isnt it, ive used it for years now! i mostly use it when switching web pages, so have 3 open n alt n tab to go between them, works alot quicker than doing it with a game, n games some times freeze when you use this, so be warned!! Mostly fine tho

Pcguy, this is an excellent tip but you forgot a couple things The code is supposed to have a C:/ at the beginning and you forgot to tell us you cant copy and paste the code, you have to type it all out manually.

I dont know this trick but ive seen it done, theres a way to convert UPPERCASE text into lowercase text. Anyone have the know how...

aaron1234567 go into regedit>>>click F3 and type in IsShortcut>>>keep an eye on the left hand side at the open folder InkFile will soon appear. And u only have to log off and back on again for the changes to take affect, saves the wait

Heres one...if u dont have a scroll wheel mouse and having to click on the bar the side, why not press and hold shift and space bar to scroll up or ctrl and spacebar to scroll down!!

you probelly all know this one...instead off pressing star>>>shutdown u can press alt+F4 and if you have hibernate activated u can press and hold shift and that brings up the hibernate option!!!
