Junior HJT log 4-8-05

Postby Junior_co » Wed May 04, 2005 1:58 am

Here is a quick rundown as to why I'm posting this log here today....

My "better half" got fooled by a poo up and she clicked on one of them... I saw about 45 pop ups jump on to the screen in about 2 seconds...

I have run AV software (AVG), AdAware SE Personal, and Spybot S&D. Repetedly. I can't seem to get everything off. every time I run those again, more stuff shows up in the scan results.

I am still getting pop up's, and it seems like something is actually opening up windows to various web sites as well. I've seen the names Aurora, and Seeve on some of these windows that are opening up websites...

Also I have seen a BMan and BMan1 in the Task Manager. I currently have that set to not start up through the msconfig start up tab.

Also, whenever we try and log off (any user) there is a "TRd ww" that says it is shutting down, and it has to be shut down anywhere from 1 to 3 times before XP will log off that user.

One last thing before I go. Right in the middle of fighting this the first night, I lost my internet connection. My LAN connection keeps saying that it has Limited or No Connectivity. Every attempt to repair this has failed. It seems like to much of a coincedence that my NIC would fail at the same time all this other CR@P was happening. I solved this (at least temporarily) by installing another (froim my old system) NIC.

Here is the HJT Log:

Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

rzrvaa.exe
nsvsvc.exe
seeve.exe
aucb.exe
meclxhn.exe
r?ndll32.exe
nscodisc.exe

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.
Delete the following Files/Folders if they exist:
