Problem with language

Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages tab,
click Details > click Add > under Input Language, add the language that you want to use
Under Keyboard layout/IME, click the keyboard layout that you want, and then click OK.

i have windows me and it only has regional configuration if my spanish is correct, and i change the language it the regional configuration and it did nothing

On windows ME you have to install the multilanguage support first.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Windows Setup
Multilanguage Support check the Multilanguage Support box

After you reboot go to Control Panel > Keyboard > Language tab > click Add
Click the language that you want to use, and then click OK.

nope that didn't work, it my whole computer that is in spanish like for example instead of saying start it saz inicio, and instead of programs it saz programas

I know Gecko's solution will allow you to install a multil language cd in a language other than English. A customer accused me of switching an HP printer driver disk when I returned his machine. It only booted in Spanish--his kids had messed with it That fixed it.

I've noticed a lot of software that I've downloaded from emule (Microsoft goodies) can be in French, Italian, Spanish or as in my last fiasco, Korean . Its made for that country.

Unless that machine was speaking englase a while back, I would suspect that your going to need a Spanish English dictionary.

I've installed English apps on a Tiawanese system. The yes,no and I agree prompts are in the same locations. You can't read them, but you can figure it out from an Engish system. MS Office worked OK
