Slideshow CD Issues

Postby josh10581 » Tue Mar 29, 2005 7:37 pm

A friend of my wife just got married and is in the process of being HOSED on wedding photos. The photo guy gave them a CD with a slideshow on it of all of their pictures, and told them that the CD image would disintegrate after 24 days. A replacement CD would cost $100. The only file on the CD is an .exe. Is there any way around this since they have already spent $1000?

Wow, what a rip off. $100 bucks for a cd slideshow is outrageous. During the slideshow, does it mention anywhere what software he used to create it?

If its burned to a cd, the only way that it can determine its time has expired, is from the computer it is on.

Reset the time back a few days if it has expired and try "alt" "print screen" for each photo and paste into "Word" and save.
