Neighbor Problems.....

This is a Rant about my neighor problems... Hope ya don't mind, but I had to vent somewhere...

I live in a town home complex that is surrounded by a common area of grass.... We've been in this complex for about six months. During this time, me better half and I take our beautiful dog, Emma, out at least 5 times a day for a walk and other buisness. We would walk her with an electronic collar, but no leash, and we would always (99%) clean up after her....

Aboout two weeks ago this neighbor lady comes out and starts yelling at me to clean up our dog's poop. As I had just picked up her poop a hundred feet back, I held up the full bag of poop to show her, and told her that we pick up after our dog. She yelled at me about how she just saw her poop and that we were not allowed to walk our dog in HER common area. I tried to get her to point out where she just saw our dog poop, but she wouldn't. I left her and went on my way...

Five days later, I was again walking Emma around that area and she came out with a video recorder. She video taped me walking our dog with out a leash. The whole time yelling about how she had me for a leash violation. She yelled at me some more about how this was HER common area, and that she had spoken to the Home owners association (HOA), and that I still had no right to HER common area...

I had decided that I would avoid this area from now on. Not because I believed that she was right, but because it wasn't worth listening to the old bag yelling at me.

She turned me in to the animal control people, and we were given a formal warning of a leash law violation.

We still avoid that area, but now we have to walk our dog on a leash, and wonder if the neighbor is going to try and turn us in for god knows what. As Emma is now stuck on a leash 99% of the time, she doesn't get to burn off very much energy.

What I can't figure out is why she waited almost 6 months to say anything. I think if she had brought up her concerns or problems a while back we could have had a mutual agreement....

I love Emma like most people do their children.

I just don't get people sometimes.....

Sry for the Rant, but it was either that or go kill the neighbor lady
