Im going to add a little more detail...Bigwes is a friend of mine that lives just down the road. I was over there trying to help him get his system cleaned up and we hit a point that has us stumped. He had several trojans and tons of spyware that we removed, although i see that webrebates made its way back in.

The main problem is

O20 - Winlogon Notify: MCD - C:\WINDOWS\system32\i060lajm1doa.dll

I tried every method i know of to remove this and i havent done any good. You cant delete it in explorer because its in use so i closed explorer and tried deleting from command prompt, still in use. I tried safe mode then command prompt, same thing. I tried to have killbox delete on reboot but then it just renames itself and comes back. Ad-aware, Spybot, FreeAVG, PCCillin -none of these detect this. I know we have had problems like this posted before and have solved them, im going through old post trying to find something that was done that i havent done here. Hopefully you guys can help us get this crap off of here. Im hosting a Unreal Tournament 2004 game saturday night and in a bit scared to add this machine on my network in its current condition. There's going to be quite a few other machines on the network and i dont want to risk compromising them.

Thanks,
liljim

Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)
WebRebates
PPCRunOnce

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PPCRunonce] C:\WINDOWS\System32\PPCRunOnce.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WebRebates0] "C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates\WebRebates0.exe"
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{EE7C3F77-65BD-4A79-B564-41F9BF7EBE8A}: NameServer = 205.171.3.65 205.171.2.65
O20 - Winlogon Notify: MCD - C:\WINDOWS\system32\i060lajm1doa.dll

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
WebRebates

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.
Start HijackThis and click the “Open the misc tools section” now click “Delete a file on reboot”
Select the following file to be deleted on reboot:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\i060lajm1doa.dll
Select no to reboot now and then click on “Delete a file on reboot” again and select
C:\Program Files\Web_Rebates\WebRebates0.exe
Select no to reboot now and then click on “Delete a file on reboot” again and select
C:\WINDOWS\System32\PPCRunOnce.exe

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin", reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.
