can't surf the net

Postby robym6 » Sun Feb 27, 2005 2:44 am

When I plug the ethernet cable into my laptop (Dell Inspiron 8200), it shows that the computer is connected to the network, but when i try to open Internet Explorer it says "No connection to the Internet it currently available." Is this an issue with the ISP or with the computer itself? Any suggestions on what to do?

Right Click Internet Explorer on the desktop, and select Properties. Then select
Connections and click on Setup at the top. This will run the Internet Wizard. Answer the prompts and you should be good to go.
