I recenley got my DSL modem in the mail and was trying to install it all of it does good till I do the part where I plug in my USB cable and it don't go any futher its like it don't find it when I plug it in..
my computer is a hp windows 98 I have had virisus in it before but there all gone now and the woman at Centurytel said something about I needed to update my drivers :?: ????
If anyone knows how I can do that please let me know or if theres something else that I can do to make my USB cable work let me know....

Do you have any other usb devices pluged in that work?

Right click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, select properties then click the device manager tab.Are there any :?: or :!: in there?

Thanxs for all yalls help but I called Centurytel and talked to some guy that knew what he was doing and its working fine now...........But thank yall for yalls help!!! :wink:
