Blank content on links

Postby gooner1 » Sun Jan 30, 2005 11:51 pm

Hi. Today when i try to view some links on Web pages i just get a blank page and it goes no further. I have not changed settings knowingly. My 6 year old daughter has visited her usual kids club sites and they too return a blank page box.
Any idea's please.
Mark.

First try emptying your temp internet folders. If that still doesn't work, download and run HiJackThis and post a log.

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.) Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Have you tried to install Firefox to see if that browser works? Just in case its your internet or firewall causing the issue.

Thanks to all involved in a great effort to try and solve my problem.

I had more problems than 1st thought. I found about 6 different probs including my Automatic update not working. I have now completed a full System restore and everything is running smoothly again. I had everything backed up so all was ok. I think it shows yet again the importance of a smooth running and well tuned Registry...?

While on that subject...Does anyone know of a cool free Reg editor....

Thanks again...Mark.
