So I jumped in the van this morning abd tried to get out on the road. I had to shut off the van and go get the snow blower. After clearing a path off to town I went. About a mile up the road I heard the heater slow down, the wipers slowed down too. I looked at the guages. Zero, Zip, Zilch going through the alternator. Got to the beer store ok, then headed directly to the garage and opened the hood. Got the air hose outside and blew all the snow out from under the hood. Put the belt back on, got a boost and off we went.

Got back home and found the snow plow had been by, I knew because my mailbox was about 40 feet inside my driveway.

Snow, such a wonderfull thing

Sounds rough.

We don't have any snow in Chicago yet. Just a few flurry's here and there, but not enough to break out the shovels and snow blowers :)

So then the neighbour down the road came up with his truck and plow on the front. After a couple passes with the plow he went too deep into the snow. I went out to the workshop and got a big rope and pulled him out with the van. Then while I was trying to back out of the driveway he backed into me. Nice thing was only damage was the plates holding the running board behind the front wheel well.

I went in the house, sat down and said damned if I dont need a beer
