Its 2004 and they're complaining about swearing? The father was probably smoking weed and driving under the influance. Who the hell is he to judge a CD for profanity.

I DO think those parents should think themselves lucky that their child likes Evanescence. I do too btw..... but how on earth would they cope with other 'artistes' ? It's hard to know what to do when you have a child... I thought I would be censoring everything but I don't... I think there's not much point... you just have to teach kids what is acceptable or isn't.... and if Evanescence swear (lol) it doesn't mean that they have to.

tis all bobbins lol

Kids are gonig to swear anyways, whether you let them at home or not. theres influences all around, school, work, friends houses. you cant keep your child protected forever. Eventually, you'll have to jsut let it go.

If my kid wants to buy a cd with swearing on it, i wont stop em. Ofcourse they'll have to be like 13 or something, cuz i wont let a 6 year old say 'f**k' or 's**t' but if my 13 year old son/daughter wants to buy those types of cds, i figure they're old enough to make their own choices anyways.

Im only 16, so i have a while to go.

i wouldn't want my child to say stuff like that whatever age they were... but of course like you say.. they do !!!! We have all been through that phase of every second word being the 'f' one because we thought it was big and clever.... (i hope that's not just me anys  hehe) and now I'm big and clever the 'f' word comes out every 3rd word only .... kidding :D
