I use a modified version of PHPNuke. Its good software. You need a DB to run it though. But if you are just looking to do simple webpages with no forums, then you dont need that kind of software.

Perhaps you can tell me what you are looking to do and I can point you in the right direction.

I downloaded the phpwebsite-0.10.0-full. Do you do all your work in dreamweaver with it?

Hi Limp,

I have done two sites now with phpwebsite and I really like it.
And yes you can use Dreamweave as the text editor to edit the *.php files and
the support files like Styles.css and the *.tpl files.
I am currently using as my php editor.

Phpwebsite comes with 10 themes already installed so I’m sure that one of these themes
will be somewhat close to the theme that your are using here.

It is then just a matter of editing the Styles.css file to get the colors that you want
and then replacing the images for your own custom theme.

If you have any more question about the install or setup please feel free to ask me.

Posting is good because if others have the same question they can see your answers and get help quickly. :)

Ok here comes the first question  . I have been working on a HTML page for a while now and I would like to keep it. Can I add php to it? And if so how? I want to add a user login for the private page on my site. I also would like to make my own web counter and private forum. I hope that I can just add it to my HTML site cause it took a long time to design it. :)

That’s awesome! But alas I'm lost again. Trying to figure out how to create that elusive login page with PHP. I have resorted to PHP and MYSQL for dummies!!! I "picked" it up last night.
