XP SP2 - Halo

Since I have installed SP2, I have found that half my games wont run, I have an AMD 1900+ and a Geforce graphics card, I have also downloaded the latest Nvidia driver and the latest DirectX driver. I get to the fisrt splash screen and then the PC hangs, I have the same problem Medal of Honour. I have to cold boot to get back to the OS. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

I know it sounds simple, but did you update your sound card drivers as well?

The only other thing I can think of is to roll back SP2 and see if it works.
