Popups!
I found a folder in my registry called Panicwear Could this be causeing pop ups!?
I got lots on line or off.Right now if I open task manager there is stuff running that I have no clue as to how it got there !I have run spybot and pest control they seem to find nothing.
Can any one help with this?
I'm running windows XP profess
Is there anyway to seach them out and deletete the bug

Download Hijackthis---Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
Download from here

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----most entries are harmless and needed.

First let's Set Windows to show Hidden files and folders
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

I'm not sure how you managed this but your first Logfile was with the Newest Version of HJT 1.98.2
But now your latest Logfile is with an Older version HJT 1.97.7
Could you please delete that Version 1.97.7 and run the Newest version again.
Post another logfile in here in your thread.

Could you please delete that Version 1.97.7 and run the Newest version again.
