Pictures don't show up

Postby Arastar » Sat Nov 13, 2004 1:21 am

Anyone have any idea why I am getting the RED X where pictures should be? I have Windows XP SP2 and in certain instances...not all...the red x is there instead of a picture or in this case and most importantly on my web site.

Here is the link. I can see everything but the buttons. They are Jpgs I believe. Really agravating not being able to see this since I'm in this band! ;(

Thanks!

Can you bring up Windows Explorer
Click Tools>Folder Options>File Types

Scroll down to GIF and JPEG and tell me what is suppose to open them?

Those buttons are a Jave Applet...

Goto the top of your browser and click:
TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>ADVANCED
Scroll down to MS Java..make sure there is a tick in the
JIT Compiler for Virtual Machine ENABLED

Cactus~

I did what you suggested there is no MS Java in that section. I have BROWSING, HTTP, MULTIMEDIA, etc. but no Java.

And, sorry to sound like a serious newbie, where do I go to open Windows Explorer?

Thanks so much for the help!

For Windows Explorer
Goto START>All Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer.

The problems seems to be your Microsoft VM settings.
These settings should be right under the HTTP settings in the Advanced Tab in Internet Options.

Go
Run the test see if it is installed or not.
Read the page for Instructions.

Let us know.

Cactus!!! You did it! Whatever the install was got me up and running.

Can't thank you enough!

I'm not sure what type of music you're into but if you're interested, I'd be happy to send you our new CD. You can check out music clips from the site and if it's up your ally, send along your address and I'll mail one out.

Thanks again!
