Sup, is there an install.exe file on the cd? When you browse it?

that depends. some auto-runs can have you register dll's with dos that a normal setup/install.exe will not. or it could also pull some files from a different location. in most cases however you are right.

please check this out... http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;324767

also ive looked around... try running antivirus. it could be a exsploited verison of the actual file.

you can also try getting this patch. http://support.packardbell.com/uk/mypc/ ... _patch.exe . (this will automatically begin a download) one of my buddys had the same error using xp home edition and it fixed it. however this error will occur on both pro and home edition.

other than that my best suggestion would be to replaced every file you can find under that name with a new one from another computer....

you can download it off this link i found if you perfer.... https://mcsd.ala.usmc.mil/Enterprise%20 ... TOEXEC.zip (this will automatically begin the download)

Hello clennonuk

Try this
patch

The autoexec.nt error will show up In Windows Pro & Windows XP and may be caused if config.nt or command.com or autoexec.nt are missing.
