This came to me... and some other poor person.... from what seems like a legit tiscali addy...a bloke called David Cruddis...!!
Needless to say I'm totally bemused by it lol
Hi Jane
Just to fill you in a little. I have now reported four skips on the Bonga
by virtue of SOC's all of which have had mixed waste in them. It's almost
a fortnight since I reported the first one and no one has got back to me
regarding the outcome of the observations. I called in to the Safety Office
to enquire about them but was told all cards go to the beach. I go on leave
for four weeks on Wednesday 10th and was wondering if I could enlist your
help. We apparently have no one out here I can ask for information as to
what sort of things I should be looking out for. Is there any chance you
could forward me some information that would be of some help as at the moment
I'm like a headless chicken. At my last location at least I had some idea
but out here I don't seem to have a clue. We are not yet releasing hydrocarbons
and there isn't much going through the pipelines. It is also my intention
to contact someone at Amec Aberdeen when I'm on leave to see if they can
also help me as all help would be appreciated. I take heed of what you recently
said regarding the state of the river and the lack of knowledge in the locals
but we are not like them. We can actually do something about it out here
if we nip everything in the bud. I also need to know the correct person
to contact should my requests keep falling on deaf ears. I may be going
on leave but my Email stays the same should you have something for me after
Wednesday. I really enjoyed being a "Tree hugger" at Sullom Voe and given
the incentive I've no doubt I will out here. Thanks
Dave
