Greetings,
I recently subscribed to Itunes & RealPlayer's Music store.
Although I set my preferences for MP3 downloading it still did it in AAC/MP4.
They are no help in guiding me to this.
Anyone have experience with this?
I own Acoustica but it is NG in this case.
please Advise!

Alot of CD burning software has the Decoders already.
Nero has one if your using version 5 or 6.There are others as well.
On this page you'll find Decoder and Encoders for the Mp4 & AAC file formats.

when you import files to your itunes it changes it does it not?
i know if you have wma files itunes converts it.

You can use

GoldWave to convert files and i think its free, dont ask for a link i got shown it by some one else a while back.
im sure i have more converts but i cant find any.
