venney venney venney

It is legal to make back up copies of your own personal discs but please refrain from asking certain questions pertaining to that in this forum. Would you like this rule etched in stone for future use??

I’m having trouble copying a CD, I’m using Alcohol120% to make this copy.
The error I kept getting is “'Disk Error 0x12345678 - 0x987654321 - 0x123456".

I am using a Lite-on burner model # xxxxxxx
I also have the latest drivers from Lite-on
My OS is windows XP Home SP2

i have also tryed using other burning and copying programs.

Help please lol

Hi venney

What was the software that came with the writer? Nero?
Have you tried using it and do you still get these same errors?

Hi venney,

What is the exact error you are getting (letter by letter + number by number)?
Is this a read error or a write error?

What make and model number of burner do you have?

Have you checked for a firmware update from the burner manufacturer’s website?
