Living in Pa we didnt expect to feel Ivans wrath, but we got 8" of rain.
We are in a state of emergency at the time. We have been pumping out our basement since 11pm last night and its still pumping 13 hours later :|

I guess you never know how mother nature is going effect you.

Mother nature sure can be cruel.... :(

But I'm glad you and your family are all ok... :)

God, knows I feel for you all. Here in Western North Carolina we can all relate to your dilemma.
I only hope you make out Ok and all your friends and relatives are safe. All material things can be replaced although it seems irrelative right now, I'm sure.

My thoughts and prayers are with you folks.........

Thank you both. :)

My worries are pointed towards my parents. They have 3ft of water surrounding their home. Only way in or out is by boat.
I am still pumping out our basement, it doesnt look like its going to end soon, still lots of water running in.

My thoughts are, it could of been worse, we are lucky. There's still millions of people without electric
