**(Always create a Folder for HiJackThis anywhere but your Temp/Temporary Internet Folders. This is where it will save the backup files needed if there's a problem.)**

Either move the HTJ files to that folder or Delete what you have and re-download saving to the folder your going to create in MyDocuments.

Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.

Since the programs are still running, you may have trouble deleting them. If you boot into safe mode, (look at cactus's sig for directions) it won't automatically run those programs, which will make removing them even easier.

also, housecall antivirus will kill the processes of some spyware programs (they call it malware), so you might want to run that. It's free, and it runs from INSIDE of your browser, so you don't need to install anything.
