Please delete that version of HJT and download the New version 1.98.2 from here...
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

NOTE: Important---Create a permanent folder
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.

Post the newer logfile.

I finally found where the HijackThis program was at. I have deleted it.

I went to the link you gave me. They were having trouble with their data center and sent me to a mirror site. I don't know what a mirror site is but I am trying to find the place to download a new version of HJT. I'll send a new log when I get it.

I again am new and appreciate your help. It took me awhile just to find out how to reply to your message, but I got it now.

Thank you for helping.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

inetmgr.exe
fwmiqo.exe
W49vSfapL.exe
aqspp.exe
mstreama.exe
refscplp.exe
OyiJe19.exe
MgeJ.exe
abyssws.exe
dp-him.exe
inetsvc.exe
Yxu5.exe
IEHost.exe
LI9g.exe
dp-him.exe
Sync.exe

pop-ups & slow

Postby unplugged » Mon Aug 23, 2004 7:51 pm

Thank you Cactus.

Yes, there were some of what you listed I couldn't find.

The computer would not delete the "inetmgr.exe" file.

I did delete: C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~3\inetkw.dll and now I get soooo many Error menus saying, "Error loading C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~3\inetkw.dll. The specified module could not be found. Is this okay???

Thank you for helping me :!:

I will continue to do the rest of what you said. It just concerned me with those error boxes.
