If you not going to do as PCguy suggests then use the Google ToolBar with Pop-up Stopper:

Loose IE untill you have SP2 installed I'd say, but I wouldn't install that either quite yet..

Opera works great for me, might be it blocks wanted pop-ups to, but not sure of this yet..

Try WebWindowKiller....I have been using it for a couple of years now. Works like a dream. If you get any pop ups when using it, you can add them to the hostile list and presto...you will never see it again.

Thank you everybody !! :)

I've got loads of new things to try....

My Googlebar is getting on my nerves.... it claims to net a pop-up everytime I change pages on Pctech lol...... I'm sure someone will tell me why hahahahaha...... all i hear is its self-satisfied CLICK n i'm thinking...what? but you haven't killed anything !!!

Thanks everybody again ... maybe I SHOULD change my browser.. but I am hopelessly in love with IE.. nothing else feels like home *runs and hides* hehe
